Kingdom Come starts Year 56 in fine fashion, welcoming Time Without End to his club of stakes winners as he continues on the Triple Crown Trail!

His aforementioned stars Crucify and No Day But Today both won their Year 56 debuts in the G3 Torrid Nights Stakes and the G1 Elusive Pegasus Handicap, respectively.

Onward!

Congrats to Kingdom Come's progeny Galaxy's Edge and Crucify for their runner up finishes in the Louisville Derby and Louisville Oaks. Many great finishes await them down the line!

Kingdom Come's first Classic Winner!

Post by Nini Panini »

I am SO happy to say congratulations to Danny Derby on his Baltimore Crown win with Galaxy's Edge, who becomes the first Classic winner for Kingdom Come! The first of many to come. :)

Kingdom Come - Triple Crown Sire

Post by Nini Panini »

Kingdom Come gets his SECOND Triple Crown race winner this year as Risen Today won the Long Island Classic! His other son, Karazhan, finished 3rd. This puts Kingdom Come's Triple Crown race record this year at 8: 2-1-1. A win in the Baltimore Crown, a win in the Long Island Classic, a second place finish in the Derby, and a 3rd-place finish in the Classic. If this isn't the mark of a generational sire, then I don't know what is.

Congratulations to Laura and Ash on tonight's big runs!

An update for late Year 56, since the end of the year is looming!

First, his Baltimore Crown and Long Island Classic winning sons both picked up additional G1 wins in the Awesome Derby and the Broadchurch Stakes. Congrats again to Danny and Laura!

Additionally, Kingdom Come has some excellent horses on the horizon, with Owlpha Romeo and Gentle Witch leading the pack in winning their recent stakes debuts! Also present is Maximus, who finished second in a stakes with a high speed figure.

The good ones just keep on coming, so keep him in mind during your end-of-the-year rush to breed mares!

Kingdom Come - Y56 Summary

Post by Nini Panini »

Kingdom Come had a tremendous year at stud.

Galaxy's Edge won the Baltimore Crown and the Awesome Derby and finished second in the Louisville Derby.
Risen Today won the Long Island Classic and was second in the Steward's Cup Marathon.
Karazhan wrapped up his year with a win in the Los Campeones Classic, going back to his winning ways.
No Day But Today won two G1s, finishing the year with a win in the Japan Trophy Dirt and becoming his sire's 5th millionaire.
Crucify had 3 consecutive runner up finishes in major G1's. She's knocking on the door; look for her next year.

Looking to the future, Owlpha Romeo ran a huge race in the Steward's Cup Juvenile to be second, nearly making it 2 in a row in the race for Kingdom Come. Maximus finished his year by running a huge 99 in the Empire Maker Stakes. I'd imagine both of these horses are Derby bound, and I expect both of them to make a big impact on the Triple Crown Trail.

With all that being said, please consider Kingdom Come for your dirt router mares as this year comes to a close and the breeding rush hits. :)
