Northern Lights Stud Farm

Post by Sten Rino Haakonsen »

So I decided my Stud Farm needed to be shed some lights on so they would get some use so I renamed it from the old name which was the no name stud farm and to Northern Lights Stud Farm
I said I was going to have an upkeep on this page so I didnt have to look forever when decided to write again but well here we are several seasons later and I had to look a while to find it haha but

Here we go

Appy Router

Ibelieveicanfly
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1191197
Stakes winner and grade 1 stakes placed as well as a 2nd place in the sc as a 3 year old
has some really nice hypos with both a+ and a to those I tested in my barn which inclued the champion szczecin
a real darlk horse I think will do much better than you might think so you should breed to him while he is still rather cheap
Standing for 10k

AWS

Red Running Hood
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1118812
This boy really speaks for himself and was a sc champion at 3 and pegasus champion at 4
has some really nice looking foals and has several stakes winner as well as a couple of sc winners
one of the best studs in my stud barn and still being kept at a very reasonable price
Standing for 20k

TS

I Owe You Nothing
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=876600
is a multiple graded stakes winner and has a couple of stakes galloppers and a bunch of allowance on the ground
is currently leased out

TM

Competitve Spirit
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1110583
Multiple grade 1 winner and winner of such big races as the saudi turf mile and that big grade 1 in canada were he beat Hempstead
has decent hypos and already has a stakes gallopper from a very small sample size the first season¨
I am partly to blame for that
Standing For 10k

Super Powers
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=964155
this was the big boy of my tm stud farm up until this year
This boy has it all he was a multiple grade 1 winning horse
winnerr of the millenium mile and podium in the sc at 2 and also on the podium in the pegasus and the toronto mile
and has been very nice at stud with multiple grade 1 winning foals which also includes none stew breds like my own filly Tithanos out of my old superstar mare Little Ann but Super powers was the only one who got a stakes gallopper out of Little Ann
also has freaks now
standing for 20k

Plotting Away
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1235437
comes from one of the better families in my barn
Grade 1 winning horse who won the los campeones as a 2 year old
new standing in my barn and could be an intesreting propect
has b+ hypos
Standing for 10k

Tithanos
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1187855
This horse was a grade 1 winnwe as well as multiple graded stakes wins
his pedigree is enough for me to love this horse as the only standing stud in my barn by Little Ann and with his sire being Super Powers that alone should speak for itself
He also hypos as high as a+ with the very best of mares and a and a- to most of my better ones
has a freak yearling as well as a lot of stake gallopping yearlings and a bunch of allowances
a good racehorse that seems like he could be outstanding as a stud
standing for 30k

Nightmawrish
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1077041
this is one of a couple of newer studs in the barn people might not know much about but he could actually turn out to be quite a nice one
he was a multiple listed stakes winner as well as a graded stakes winner who kept churning away at track
has he got anyhting with him that makes him a good stud
sure he does he is a son of Distant Dream which was a decnt stud and he has a- to all of my better mares
he does not have any foals yet as this is his first year at stud but I have a decent feeling about him getting better foals than you might think
and he is one of my first to stand at stud I actually bred myself which for me alone is reason to use him
(currently Leased out)

Blue Riband
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1063821
Like Nightmawrrish he is a homebred and newly retired stud who is very likely a lot better than he looks
This one was a graded stakes winner but mostly earned his living in high end allowance races
but he absolutely has some upside to him as stud as he is by close to the best and also hypos a- to my best mares which means basicly only that alien Fearless Spirit is better and he is 9 times as expensive
(currently out on lease)

https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1102495
Twilight Star
and here is the reason why I called Super Powers the one that was the superstar of my stud farm cos for some reason I firmly believe this one could be Just as good an maybe even better
hypos solid a- to most of my mares
and this one hs the pedigree to be a ery solid stud
might have been a little bit dissapointing on the track but was still a mutiple graded stakes winner amongst those 2 grade 1s
(currently out on a lease)

That was all folks
see ya all at my stud farm which is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 day a year and so on and on and on and on and on ....... to be continued

This freak foal is nnow added to Super Powers repertoir

Red Runnning Hood has added a couple of stakes foals to his name and seeing as that seems to be pretty good this yeear I would say go breed to both of theese
