Now Standing - The Hotshot

Post by Brandon Schultz »

After 8 years on the track, this guy finally gets to go on some dates.

Now Standing, The Hotshot.

Cool story on this guy. Way back when dispersals happened through AJ I got this guy for $5k. He was my first ever steward-bred and he won a couple of races that felt like a really big deal when I was a complete noob and he provided me with lots of fun times. He was my first horse with a headshot. And honestly has just been a fun (and frustrating) horse for basically the whole time I've been playing the sim. Even though he was never great, he was always fun to have around on the track. But every good thing comes to an end so I figured since he provided me with so much fun, I might as well stand him for a year or two. He deserves it.

So why should you breed to him?
1. He is cheap! Only $5k.
2. He was consistently decent, winning stakes at 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8 years old.
3. 2x Graded stakes winner.
4. He hit the $350k minimum threshold that may or may not actually matter or mean anything.
5. He gets A- hypos. In DR that might not be the best but he's only $5k.

Breed to him! Or don't. But breed to him.
