Very Strange....
I have bred 32 mares that are over 13 yo and of those only 1 died. Has anyone else had this happen lately?
I need supervision 24/7.

I had a couple of mares die over the break but I did feel like more survived than expected. Have a number of fifteen year olds and just sold an eighteen year old. I don't know the actual death rates though so maybe I just expect them to die faster than they actually do.

One of my favourites survived breeding this year and she’s 16…bring it on!
Unbred I have 3 that are 17 years old. 4 more 16 year olds, and 5 that are 14….we shall see what happens with them. On the down side, Love You Forever died with the birth by her last foal by Storm this year and she was 17.
