Brakpan is the kind of stud that normally gets lost in the shuffle in my barn. Respectable race record, nice pedigree but just in the show of his more talented stablemates. They'll see a handful of mares and then be forgotten.
Imagine my surprise when I retired him today and noticed that he hypos on par with War Like Me and Parts Unknown, and also has several A+ hypos with some of my mares.
I don't want him to be forgotten or ignored, so instead of pricing him high since he's hypoing well, I've got him at $20K hoping that he can cover as many mares as possible this year and give himself a foundation for the future. I'm almost positive you won't find a better hypoing stud option for $20K, so enjoy and best of luck!

Now they were already bred for this year, but I checked 3 of my hen DR mares with Brakpan and all gave A- hypos...so, he could very well be a sleeping giant

I don't even have great mares, my best has given me two allowance LBs and a productive progressive (well, one allowance was a stakes before the adjustment) and even she is an A- to this guy.

Bump for Year 63 breeding season. Standing for $25K which I think is the absolute lowest price you can breed to an A+ DR stallion for.
