I have decided to lower Mahler's fee to $75,000. While he easily books up every season at $90k, I don't feel that his progeny have performed up to that level yet and I feel silly having him up at $90k. It's tempting to limit his book a little as I'm sure he'll see more action at a slightly lower fee, but I promised myself I would never restrict my studs and hypos are still king so if his stats plummet a bit, I'll just have to deal with it. Just think $75k is a fairer price when a stallion like Talus is doing much better and is at $80k.
All this to say, if you have bred to Mahler at the $90k fee this season, please feel free to get in touch and I will refund you $15k on every mare you've bred to him.
