I just snuck in under the wire to rescue Lord Empire for a couple more days.
A NINE-time G1 winner including the Aussie turf triple and the SC in the same year, this guy was absolutely brilliant on the track, and has been a very solid, if underappreciated, sire since then, including a SC winner of $2.2m, and his average and median earnings are on par with some much pricier guys.
