So, I've retired Kacchan (my daughter picked the name, don't ask me! ☺) at the age of 7. He is my first homebred to stand at stud and, altough his pedigree is a little wierd (at best), I’m very fond of him.
He has been so consistent throughout his career, never finished out of the money. Kacchan freak peaked at 4, and had his best season as a 6 yo when he won the G1
Hong Kong Champions Mile (link to Nicole Marie's awesome hero article: Click) and the G2 East India Stakes. He has also placed and showed in several G1 and G2 races from the age of 2. I've done a handful of hypos, and they are not great but not too bad:
