Dam is a graded stakes winning daughter of Look Radiant, who is herself a stakes winning half sister to The Look. Look Ghosts is a half sister to Look My Best. This baby is cool because he is a dirt sprinter with NO SATELITE blood at all, and Symbol appears a full three generations back.

I figured the name was pretty appropriate since I couldn't think of anything I liked and was about to just leave him nameless for now.

Ive wanted a Stop and Stare foal for a long time and im super happy to have one now. If youve ever read The Belgariad, Hrulgin are predatory creatures that closely resemble horses except for their fangs and claws. They are pack hunters, led by a single stallion and are flesh eaters. How appropriate?

Okay I decided there was way too much talk lately about horses named after Dave Matthews songs and not nearly enough about horses named for New Wave so here we go:

David Byrne, b c (Everest - Lyrical, by Giant's Causeway)
Why yes, he IS inbred 2x3 to Banner's dam War Song and 3x3 to Storm Cat, why do you ask? That's not why I chose Everest as the sire though. Lyrical's best foal so far is by A Crown Awaits and he and Everest are both by Three of Crowns. Plus I haven't been so thrilled with Lyrical's foals in general and at least this way it's free.
