Nyquist
He might be a dud (so far) as a thoroughbred sire but his record with quarter horse mares is excellent. Seven of his top nine earning offspring are quarter horses which is pretty amazing considering the disparity in earning power. Six are stakes winners.
He is a nice alternative. Seems best with mids and routers and is available for a very reasonable fee. Give him some consideration with your quarter horse mares.

I'll throw you some free advertising, since I can't Edge a real-life horse. Thoroughbreds breeders: this is one of the top 3 dirt mile studs by hypos in the stud book. Don't be a slacker!
