My first A+ hypo rating ever

Post by Stormy Peak »

I retired my mare, Golden Memories tonight and bred her to Silver Jet Flash after I did a hypo on them...and got an A+ hypo rating.

Needless to say, I'm rather excited about the foal...and hope he lives up to that rating, his breeding.

I just hope he's a bit less precocious than his dam though, as her best year was as a 2 year old, winning The Most American Futurity and the QH SC Juvenile Fillies.

I have a name I want to use for him, but it's tied up at the moment on a pensioned horse. I am hoping to hear from the owner soon, to see about releasing the name/selling me the horse, but ... they haven't logged in since May 7th....so not sure how that will go.

Thanks for asking. : )

Sadly, he only galloped as an allowance. I was hoping he would upgrade today when I galloped him, but nothing changed.
I hope, perhaps, he will improve upon turning 2 years old.

I just gave him a name, Flash That Gold.
