Tell me, I'd love to know!!

Who are your go-to mixer studs?
What do you look for when choosing a sire?

I mean specific go-to sires would obviously depend on the division, though the old holiday stallions have usually been my first option the last few years when there aren't any crosses for my mare. Other than that I use a mix of "just try her with the best of the division" and trying to find an established cross that has nice gallops/ hypos. The nice thing with Mixers is that there's often not that many options so you can usually try your mare with almost all the good stallions in her division eventually :)
