As the title says I currently have my annual mare lease auction going with a number of paint sprinters and middle distance mares. You can find the auction here
There are some nicely bred mares. Here is a summary on where the blacktype is for the paints. (Please not stakes producer refers to mares that have a stakes winner as an offspring not necessarily a stakes galloper). There are no reserves no any of these and its proxy bidding with $1 increment so I'm guessing there will be a chance for players interested getting into paints to get a really nicely bred mare at a low cost.

Re: Paint sprint and mid mare lease auction – A few stakes producers, 1/3 of mares are blue hens
Bumping up to remind everyone this closes Wednesday.
Currently 7 blue hens you could pick up for under $5 and 2 1/2 siblings to millionaire steward's cup winners you could get for $1

Re: Paint sprint and mid mare lease auction – A few stakes producers, 1/3 of mares are blue hens
Quick plug for the 3 mares with no bids
Helenium is a 1/2 sibling to both millionaire dual Steward's Cup winner Girona and Steward's Cup winner Jersey her yearling 1/2 sister is also a stakes galloper with the 10th fastest paint yearling 300 yard workout time.
Impalpable is out of millionaire dual Steward's Cup winner Synchrony she is a 1/2 to 4 stakes winners including millionaire Steward's Cup winner Ebionite. Also 2 of her 1/2 sisters are stakes producers. Dactylus has produced 2 stakes winners including grade 1 winner Jacinth. And Gedaliah's first foal, Kokiri, has won 4 of 5 including 3 stakes races one being graded. Its also worth noting Impalpable's yearling is an allowance galloper.
So in both cases you have the chance to potentially pick up a mare with a REALLY nice female line for $1.
My last bidless mare, Nostoppinforstars admittedly does not have the superstar pedigree of the other 2 though both her dam and 2nd dam are stakes winners. But 3 of her 4 foals to date have been allowance gallopers, which doesn't seem to shabby for a mare you can pick up for $1. Admittedly her Fire and Storm foal was a different career galloper but its worth noting that stallion was a router whereas she is a sprinter and also wasn't exactly a super producer stallion, so I don't think that's all on her.
As a reminder this ends Wednesday
