Hello fellow horseracing fans!
I joined the sim not long ago and have been having trouble logging into the forum to introduce myself. In the meantime, I have very little idea of what I'm doing, and I am worried that too much time in my new player status has gone by for me to get a good start. I have a million questions! I will send out all the virtual carrots and apples your horses can eat if someone would be willing to work with me, teach me, and help me to have the chance to enjoy this game.
I only know a little about horseracing, what The Black Stallion books and watching or listening to races from home could teach me. I'm not a great statistician or mathematician, but I do have a great imagination. I'm also totally blind. I use a special program which reads what is on the screen. I may need some additional explaining from time to time, but I'm a pretty fast learner.
My main interests are in thoroughbred racing and steeplechasing, but I'm certainly willing and eager to try a bit of everything. Thanks in advance for any and all help and advice!

Hi. I'm new to the game and would love a mentor if that's possible. :)
Just some assistance to help me learn the ropes and avoid bankruptcy would be awesome. :D

And don't forget me everyone...lol
I'm a newbie as well.
The game seems simple and complex at the same time, and I'm hesitant to take any step unless there's a pitbull behind me and so far I cannot hear it bark.
Meanwhile, I've received a lot of help from figures that appear out of the blue, so thanks much to them. :D :o

Welcome to the game Jess, might take some time, but it will happen if you're patient. It took me about 4 to 6 days but finally got one, and she's excellent. Best of luck.

Just joined. Lots of questions. eager to learn. Not so much into thoroughbreds as other breeds. Looks like a great game and i intend to stay around for a while. Any help is appreciated. thanks.
