Question on Auctions

I haven't been able to find a good answer for this, so here it goes. Can you still race a horse that has also been put in an auction? If I have Horse [A], who is entered in a race for week 12 day 1, and my auction starts on Week 11 day 6 and ends on Week 12 day 6, will Horse [A] be allowed to run or will he be automatically scratched?

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated

From what I remember he will be scratched once added to the auction, and if the race entries have closed you won’t be able to add him until there race runs.
