Hi,
As I still wait for a mentor to be assigned, I am curious how the "improve" levels rank and affect racing and improvement of the horses - generally speaking of course.
I've read through volumes of things but have yet to come across that information.
Thanks in advance!
Bob

Re: Improve levels
Welcome,
The improve ratings are a recent addition to the sim so it's mostly guesswork. What I've found with my own horses improving is that Late Bloomers often improve a whole gallop (so "allowance" to "stakes") while Progressives often get better at the same gallop level (so a low "allowance" to mid or high "allowance").
How they rank
Peak: The horse won't change from improvement (or maybe only a tiny amount).
Progressive: The horse will get a middling amount of improvement.
Late Blooming: The horse will get a large amount of improvement.
Horses can change in ability from things other than improvement - some horses get a boost after their first race, and there are two weeks a sim year horses can go up or down, etc.
