I was a longtime Trophyhorse player and wasn't quite ready to take the plunge when I joined a few years ago.

Have a lot more time now, so going to give it a try.

Could use some luck and help to get going. So here are my numbers if acceptable

Let's go 23 and 44

Well I certainly didn't feel lucky, but thanks Frank. I don't think this is a tough decision, but we will see what advice gets thrown on the wall. After 1 year in game I won over $3M, have $1.7M of that still in cash and the only stakes horse was a loaner that was a first race pop. So the prospect of having a really good horse is awful tempting.

The phone lines are open.

The money is smarter, after all how many horses really sell for $200k? Smarter or no, I would take the horse, because if it turns out to be great you will have months of kicking yourself.

I agree with Kelly wholeheartedly. For me personally I'd take the prospect of getting a good female horse into my barn over cash. What would you be looking to do with your cash for instance - use it to breed in the prospect of breeding a good horse then here you have one right now and for free. I have retained over 80% of what I have earned this year and I'd use some of that to purchase a filly like this in a heartbeat.

Her dam's progeny have earned over $725 K on the track and she has the chance to earn plenty being a stakes filly herself. In looking at Composer as a broodmare sire in the Stud Book he sits as number 3 in the ranked stallions list for turf sprinters so when she does retire hopefully after a successful career you have a great broodmare sired filly to start your own family with.

One further thing if she is a stakes I would be insuring this filly the day she walked into my barn.

Good luck, I hope you keep her and congratulations on winning her mate.

Unfortunately the yearling stakes late bloomer, readjusted to an allowance peak. Still the right move and it may yet have benefits.
