Always remember
Always remember to check the board at any farm where you send a horse, and also to check when buying horses off the sale page and at auction. Most farms charge $20 per day, but a few charge >$100 and that can add up quickly.

Re: Always remember
Yup after buying check the current location and if they are racing take the equip set off until you can double check with your own jockey and also double check even the racing ones are over the right distance/surface as I've fallen for that too.

Because some horses are more profitable sold to newbies and boarded at $200 per day, rather than racing them. Particularly young horses and routers before wk 10.

But who would actually do that. That’s pretty sad.Kelly L Haggerty wrote: ↑3 years agoBecause some horses are more profitable sold to newbies and boarded at $200 per day, rather than racing them. Particularly young horses and routers before wk 10.

Another one of those "should you just because you can" questions. But it's a thing, and I mentioned it for a reason. I've moved 3 so far this month. So newbies ALWAYS check.Pete Vella wrote: ↑3 years agoBut who would actually do that. And you gotta wonder.... I make note of people that do things like this. I don't buy from them, board at their farms, or use their stallions. People that are nice I try to always support. They are at the top of my list when I need to board or I'm looking for a stud. I bet they make more money that way in the end.

A high boarding fee may not necessarily be aimed towards newer players, but for Alexandra Jaysman (assuming she pays that fee). It's still something to keep in mind when choosing farms, or buying a horse standing at one.Because some horses are more profitable sold to newbies and boarded at $200 per day, rather than racing them. (The easiest way to check whether you have horses standing at expensive farms is to go here: https://www.simhorseracing.com/myoffice ... ations.php and then sort the board column from highest to lowest. Horses currently standing at racetracks will also be listed here. )
