PP help

Post by Mark Mclaughlin »

On the PPs of an upcoming race to the right of the highest lifetime fig of an entry is another number which is unexplained in the Past Performances help section. As there are no ML odds that I can see I'm guessing it's a numerical indication of how the horse should fare. Am I right or is it something else? TYIA.

For every horse a race runs in the sim they get a speed figure. These are similar to real life speed figures. The highest lifetime one is the highest one that horse has run in it's career. It may be higher than any of the individual speed figures you see in the PPs as they do not show all a horse's races only the most recent X (I'm to lazy to count exactly how many). It is an easy way to get a quick idea of where your horse fits, but it's worth noting horses in the sim can improve or go off form so a horse's highest lifetime speed figure may not be that indicative of their current capabilities.

The number to the right of a horse's highest SF is how many total points that horse has accumulated so far.

Thanks, Mel. That's disappointing, I would have hoped it was more useful info.
