Steward Y40 Handicapping Tournament
Here is a handicapping tournament run by me with the grand prize being the ability to race my Sword and Shield yearling filly, and breed it once.
Here is how it works:
15 week contest, one race each Friday will be designated the contest race. It will not always be a dirt route (shocking I know!). None of the races are likely to include Sidney (sad for those wanting it to be easy). Pick ONE horse per race per week, picks due at post time (or if the race is called, call time). Post in the forum just your pick of the day AND the speed figure you think the horse will get. Whoever is correct on the winner advances to the next week, and then the next week if you're correct again. If you get the speed figure correct, you get a point. If you don't, no big deal, unless everyone is eliminated - then the highest point earner wins the horse. If there is still more than one player "alive" going into Week 16, there will be multiple races offered. If there is a tie on points when everyone gets eliminated, then the tied people will have a handicapping-off the next week.
May the best SIM Handicapper win!
