It´s back!

The Don't Mix Out mixed breed contest.
I (Polk Buffalo) will be your host this season. J.R. Lewis has kindly offered to provide the weekly prizes. You can participate in this contest if you have less than 500 career wins. New players and veterans alike can play, as long as you haven't already won 500 career total races at the start of the contest. Also, no entries (or modified entries) past 9 p.m. on Wednesday, an hour before the races. Additionally, to keep there from being a million different threads, everything (races, results, etc) will be posted in this thread.

For the five races posted: 3 points will be given for picking a race winner, 2 points will be given for picking a second and 1 point for third. So the max number of points you can get is 15.

The winner each week will get a prize in the form of an allowance yearling. J.R. Lewis can tell you more specifics about the weekly prizes this season. Since there was no competition week 1, there will also be one prize for the overall highest weekly top score during season.
If two entrants share the win for the most weekly points, the one who submitted their picks first gets the victory.
If two entrants share the overall highest weekly top score after week 16, the one who got it first gets the victory.

There will also be a prize for the winner of the total accumulated points after week 16. That might be something special!
