I looked back and found this forum thread:

The photo host is gone now although I probably have her yearling photo somewhere. She lost her mind, cut up her back legs and went through the sales ring with hind wraps on. maybe that should have been a clue about her trainabilty!
That was when our syndicate bought Angel as a yearling at Keeneland. She's grown up on the Sim, and now her babies are too!
Finally a foal on the way...

Welcome baby Bailey!
Full sister to Harley, born on May 1. Things did not go to plan this time and it was a little scary, but mother and baby are doing great now!

Here are Angel and Baby Bailey at the Oldenburg breed inspections, For those following Ange land her babies!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llKosDH2OPU
We are starting weaning now and Angel will be heading off to stay with a friend of mine near a specialist breeding facility for her next foal. Once again, I'm struggling to make up my mind - here are the choices, breeding for a show jumper:
Berlin - https://www.superiorequinesires.com/sta ... Caspar-262
My daughter works with a Berlin prix son that has a delightful temperament and amazing movement, and he seems like a good cross conformationally for Angel to give her more bone and build and a bigger movement - although it's harder to tell what she's really like now as she gets more of a 'broodmare body'. Her and me both. We used to be hot
Chacco Blue - https://www.worldofshowjumping.com/WoSJ ... pring.html
superstar SJ stallion; he had four at Tokyo. He's long gone now so it's only ICSI breeding, but that's fine. Kind of needs no introduction, and his foals have an inherent 'Chacco' value, but he may be a little light in build to be the best cross for her.
But I'm also kind of musing about using an Irish Draft and getting a nice hunter type that I can ride. If I can find one with a legit RID pedigree and that is homozygous grey that could be cool - something like https://www.irishdraughtstallion.com/cappairishcharmer
What do you all think?

Re: Finally a foal on the way...
From a former hottie (ahem), I sure like the looks of Berlin. Such a beautiful and careful jumper. I also like the idea of the Irish Draught Stallion. No expert here, but my two picks. How are Harley and Bailey turning out nowadays?

Those draft crosses can be nice, but then they can be unpredictable and you wind up with more of one or the other instead of a blend. I am pretty stuck on Berlin. Those knees are nearly to his ears.
