LOL...I knew it was wrong as soon as I thought it, but I still laughed as it was an automatic thought.
From what I read not to long ago, one of the higher ups in the rescue decided to adopt the puppy. They were worried someone else adopting him, would exploit him...treat him more like a money making item, rather than a pet. He will, it seems have a home, but also be hanging out at the rescue quite often. It sounds like he's going to have a good life.
