Ironic ain’t it. Finally get the car on the road, running great and we’re all in isolation! Think positive! When they turn you loose, you’ll be ready! It’s good to hear one of us little guys won a big one!Gigi Gofaster wrote: ↑4 years ago So Twitter was definitely the way to go. Tagged Chevy and they were straight in there. Told them the history, sent them the photos of the catalytic converter, and they stepped right up. The dealership we bought the car from (not the one that did the crappy repair and lied about the cat) took the car in, put a brand new engine in at no cost to us, and it all took just a week. Now we are back on the road and the car sounds perfect. Of course, now I don't have anywhere to go...

Gigi,
Concerning the 1K rental fee.
You should check with your insurance as well as the warranty on the car.
My dealership offers car rental at $0 if they need to keep my car.
Luckily i haven't had to go there.
I drive a Buick Encore and had 2 Chevy Trax in a row before.
All great SUV's.

Glad to read you didn't get completely stiffed by the car company. I hope your vehicle holds up for a long time without any issues.
