I have a 2yr old sprinter as raced wk1 wk 3day 1 the next race i am looking at is wk6 day 5, seems a long time to me,do you guys do anything in between of those gaps.

Week 3 day 1 to week 6 day 5 is not that much extra. You will be fine doing nothing. If you are concerned toss in a jog and a few walks
