Down on the farm

Post by Kelly Haggerty »

So my niece has a farm in the Midwest. Last week, when she went out to do chores, she heard a "peep peep peep" coming from the pigpen. Apparently some hen laid an egg and, instead of squashing or eating the egg, somehow Bob the pig managed to sleep close enough to it to incubate the thing. The resulting chick, now christened Oink, is the result.

I love this. A chick named Oink, that's great!

That puts a new spin on the concept of bacon and eggs.

Ok Kelly, nothing would be cuter than seeing a pic of Oink! Great little story, even if you can’t and thanks for sharing!
