AU isn't happy with me

This morning, I snagged some of AU's toys and tossed them into the washing machine, then set up a drying rack outside so they can dry.

He still has like over a dozen toys in the house, but he Wants those toys that are on the drying rack...lol
And I, being the horrible mean person that I am, won't let him have the ones on the rack...at least not until they are dry.

Golden Retrievers grow old, but they remain forever puppies too. : )

Actually I do feel sorry for him...it's been a stressful day...but I still can't help laughing a little.

Do you know how much will power it takes to resist, when a dog looks at you like that ? !
Then, just to make it even harder, he would throw in a whine from time to time.

However, once the toys were dry... he enjoyed helping me carry them inside. He brought in 4 of them, and I brought in the rest, plus the drying rack. Once inside, AU sniffed and snuffed at his pile of toys, pawing at them, and picking each one up...but still left them in kind of a pile...which he finally...with a big sigh...laid down upon...resting his head on one of the teddy bears. : )

This is what I see most mornings...I sleep in a recliner and he sleeps on the sofa. Usually he wakes up in a good/happy mood, starts thrashing about, snorting, growling and grunting and looking at me with this goofy look on his face.

AU when he was a puppy...he's around 3 months old here. : ) Hard to believe he'll be 5 years old soon.
