Can't recycle names

Post by Kent Saunders »

After pensioning horses you used to be able to buy the name back for 1000 points. Now that option doesn't appear anymore.

You can release the name and reserve it if you dont want the horse sitting in your pasture. Unless the horse has earned over $150k, that is.

I used to be able to. Now when I pension them the option does not appear. I still see it on older horses in pedigrees but not on newly pensioned horses. Not a major issue but I would have saved 5-6 names today otherwise.

Not sure what you mean... I have the option on my pensioned horses.

Don't forget that you can't release names on unraced horses or on horses whose names are already 18 characters.
