Forum Style change button

Post by Rachel Sadler »

I just went to change the style of the forum and the option to do this under board preference is no longer there

Are we no longer allowed to change this or just an oversite from the upgrade?

Thanks :)

If I recall, the Admin had to reset the option the last time the forum was updated.

The upgrade was sort of a good news, bad news thing. I did the upgrade because there were improvements under the hood and I like new stuff. The bad news was after I upgraded, I learned that most all of the styles/themes that existed for previous versions are not compatible with the new version. The person who wrote some of the styles we used to have has retired and does not plan to update them. I figured that we shouldn't downgrade. When I have time, I will look for additional styles that we can add. Perhaps more will become available over time.

So for the moment, we are stuck with no style options. Sorry.

I added 3 additional styles. There weren't many to choose from yet.

Thanks :) 3 is better then none, so that is appreciated.

But you still cant change anything as there is no style tab/button under board preference to actually change the style

I found it! User settings -> Board preferences -> Edit global settings. There's a dropdown menu between Language and Timezone.
