Private Messaging is down.

Currently I'm unable to send private messages in the game. There are no dropboxes to select different owners and when trying to reply I get the error "You need to select a player to receive this message."

You need to type in the players name, I think

Same error. Can't type a name in either. Name will appear only when I hit reply to a message but still won't send it. Maybe I'm the only one with the issue. lol

What device and browser are you using?
Are you able to click in the Name field? Can you type in the message field but not the name field? Is the name field blank?

You should be able to type part of a name, and a list of possible matches show up. This is just like choosing horses in hypo-mating.

The player name box is shaded so I can't type in it when I try to REPLY. I can type a message but it won't send when I'm trying to REPLY. There is only a Player name box and the Subject box. I'm using a Chrome browser on a PC and Chrome on Android cell phone.

If I create a new message and type in a name it will come up in Big Bold letters and I can select it and type a message and send. However the issue seems to be in replying. Thanks. -Ryan

I noticed that when I typed in "ronn" only "Ronny Turcotte" appears. But I can type out "ronnie dee" and send a message to myself (that I receive).

Oooh when I reply to somebody, their name is already in the name box so I just have to type in the message but yea its greyed out for me too since I am replying to the person that sent me the original message.

EDIT -- oh yea, it says it cannot send. I see.

No, it’s not allowing any typing on the name. But it is only on replying to a message. New ones are normal

There was a post a few days ago asking if people would prefer keeping the scroll bar or the intelligent text box (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=43605) most people voted for the text box thus the change.
