How is my 14yo mare injured? and "injured until year 52 preseason" at that??
Did she pull a muscle giving birth?

Usually means she died while foaling. Says she is deceased when I look at her.

she wasn't deceased when I posted her, she was still in my breeding barn and injured.

Doesn't the game give you a few minutes after notifying you of the mare being injured? You have the choice during that time to save her or "let nature take it's course". Perhaps you first looked at her during that time period and then, nature took it's course?
