Horses for Race Issue

Post by Paul Sellers »

For the last ______ (months/years) the Horses for Race finder (the little magnifying glass icon) when clicked will only show eligible horses with names starting with the letter A through R. It never shows any horses with names starting with S or later in the alphabet. My barn is so big that I usually can work around it, but it has become more and more frustrating.

Is this for everyone, or just limited to me?

Paul

I get horses with names all the way to W (I have no X, Y, Z's) but I have a very small racing stable (under 50).

I don't have that problem. That might be your horse count but how many would you expect to be available for any particular race?

The code had an assumption that players wouldn't have more than 5000 potential racers. I upped the assumption and the rest of your alphabet should be there now.

This was actually my guess, that there was a random number cap, but I doubted myself 🤣

Glad it got figured out! You’re amazing Admin 🥰
