Post by Loretta Lavendar »

Hi there.

Is the "New Player" recommended tab supposed to have horses in it that are..way over budget for a new player?

Yes, so recommended is anything above a certain level. So Productive and up gallops or Star and above mares. Only new players have access to that.

Separately there is the new player sales page which horses can be listed only accessible to new players, max price of 10k

Thanks so much! That makes much more sense, I was confused.

Also keep in mind that while some yearlings are nice and fun to have, that they do not bring in any money for you. Two year old sprinters can race at the beginning of their two year old year, but milers and routers can't race until later in the year. It's okay to pick up nice horses, just remember that you'll have to sit and wait on them for a while before they can even try to earn money back for you.
