Rachael's Valentine (two year old first time starter) won at Saratoga. does anyone know if this was the baby raised by the foster mom when RA coliced?

Yes. She is Rachel's last foal.

And she just took her record to 2: 2-0-0 and $259,000 after winning the G1 Spinaway in style! Time was 1:23.10! :D Rachel Alexandra's babies are now a combined 3 for 3 with a Grade 1 win in there! And the 2yo filly gets an automatic berth into the BC Juvy Fillies, I hope she goes and wins a BC race for momma :D

The best part about the Breeders Cup is it's at a venue that can handle the audience! I mean just the opposite!

The win was impressive. So is she going to the sprint championships instead? (this is a question we'd ask if she were a SIM horse after that sprint)

A nice second in the Juvie Fillies on BC day. I don't think anyone was catching Songbird that day as she's a bit of a freak.

If Rachel's Valentina and Songbird were on the Sim, they would be Freak gallops for sure! :D

Am I the only one who is freakishly reminded of Rachel Alexandra every time I look at Songbird? Really not looks-wise maybe (although there is some resemblance), but when she runs...

I think she looks a lot like Rachel, from her broken stripe to her running style and her sire (MDO) lol

I think that's the Medaglia d'Oro coming through. A lot of the fillies I've seen seem to have the same "look" to them.

I hope she can carry on the broodmare success of her mommy. Poor Valentina wasn't the same this year.

I thought that in her last 2 races she looked like she wasn't enjoying herself out there. Didn't look, to me, like she wanted to run. Hopefully she does well as a broodmare.
