Portland Meadows Track Photos (Image Heavy) - Updated 9/30/18

So I go hang from the rail occasionally at my local track. Often I take my camera to practice with (because after 30k photos with it I still only get about 1 in 20 I really like). I don't know anyone, so I have few backside photos. I wanted to share the ones I have as the season progresses, anyway. No night racing in the 2015 season, so I'm not going to make is as often as I want. But, I'll update this as the season progresses. :)

Thanks all! Next live race day I am planning on going to is Oct 31st! The weather was nice enough that they were watering the track between races!

Breeder's Cup day at the track. Not as nice as opening day. Is there a track condition for swimming pool? During two separate races a horse left a jockey at the gate. No injuries though. Track ponies even got dressed up!

Portland Meadows is where I got my start in the racing industry. It's one of my favorite tracks (I'm from Vancouver).

I did the same thing at Grants Pass Downs this summer. Missed the meet by a day. This season racing days are Monday and Tues, with a rare Saturday.

New season, new photos! Awesome opening day for Portland Meadows. 9 races in all. It was just overcast to make taking photos great until the sun came out for the last 2 races of the day!
