She's seriously the biggest freak I've ever seen.

Love watching her race. I don't think she's ever gone beyond a gallop! She just makes it look so easy.

Does that mean you'll be looking forward to a Beholder - Songbird matchup in the BC this year?

Makes me so sad that she isn't trying for the KY Derby :( She could definitely be the first filly TC winner lol

I imagine Beholder will run against males in the Classic, and I don't think Songbird's connections would run her there. They could meet sooner though, and I look forward to it!

I look forward to Beholder running against the best of the best! (Her missing the BC last year still makes me cry!) So hopefully she does get to run against Songbird. But yes, the Classic is the goal.

What's sad is that because B is such a spazz about shipping people will always hold that against her talent. I'd give anything for her to be able to ship out of California and not have something happen like the gash on her foot in NY and the bleeding in Ky.

As sad as I am that she won't be in the Derby, im glad they aren't running her there.
There is no way they would ever run her back in the Preakness if she did run in the Derby. I'd rather have a winner in KY that actually plans to contest the crown.
Some good news: I have heard that she is, barring injury, going to be running as a four year old!

I see Songbird is out of the Kentucky Oaks due to a fever!

Wish list
Alternate horses between jumps and flat.
Search for previous rather than current owners of horses.
Stallions year entered for stud duties.
Automated assistant trainers - sorted, kind of!
European claiming circuit.

She is my favorite active racehorse by far. Super special to me ever since I saw her win the Chandelier at Santa Anita. I think she will be a great one.

Looked like an easy breeze for her. I felt bad for the other horses. It was a nice comeback race for her though. Hoping she goes to the Breeder's Cup at the end of the year.

I'd love to see her run against the boys later this year, but I don't think it's going to happen.
