Va Bank-Polish Triple Crown Winner

Post by Carole Hanson »

Just thought I'd share the wonderful Va Bank who is now 12/12 after winning a Grade 3 at Baden Baden today (the biggest victory for a Polish trained horse!). He won the Triple Crown last year and his next start will be the prestigious Warsaw prize which he won last year as well! Here's hoping they continue to try him out beyond Poland, I really wish some Thoroughbreds from my native country would live up to the Arabians :P

His win at Baden Baden today, he's the #4 horse.

Nice! What distance is this race, Carole? Very nice turf course there.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great race, and as a Polish-bred myself (though a few generations removed from the old country!) how did I not know this was a thing?
LONG OVERDUE FARM: Keepin' it Canada since Year 16.
Stallions to meet your every need. As long as you need a turf sprinter.

10 furlongs

Wish list
Alternate horses between jumps and flat.
Search for previous rather than current owners of horses.
Stallions year entered for stud duties.
Automated assistant trainers - sorted, kind of!

It says in the description of the race that it stretches over 2000m which would be closer to 9 furlongs.
Nice race. Thank you for posting the link, Carole!
