RIP Magnum Moon

KY Derby runner and Grade 1 winner Magnum Moon (Malibu Moon x Dazzling Song [Unbridled's Song]) was euthanized Friday, Oct 4th after a year+ long battle with laminitis. He retired after sustaining a structural injury to his foreleg in a work after the KY Derby. Coming into the Derby undefeated in 4 starts, he had a very troubled start and rough trip before fading to 19th. He was 4 years old.

That's very sad. I'm glad he is no longer suffering though.
