Hopefully the worst is over by then. If everything blows over, I'll be there! It'll be one of the most anticipated Derbies ever!

I wonder if they will still use the points system to determine the starters? Or will they not bother considering there would have been 8 months worth of racing to build up a big bankroll and some big wins, and perhaps a horse could emerge as top of the division after all the Derby point races have been run.

I also wonder if the Preakness and Belmont will still be ran in May/June respectively.

I would be willing to bet they both will postpone or cancel. Every other sporting event is postponing or cancelling.

Jeez, I'm surprised that cancelled it so early (6 weeks before the race). I'm not a racing fan so I don't really care that much about it. At least my beloved PBR is still going, literally the only sport that exists now during the apocalypse
