It amazes me that people are still out there defending him. I get it they test for minuscule amounts of some of these drugs, but if that was the only problem shouldn't everyone be having horses regularly test positive instead of just one dude.

I don’t know how he’s even allowed to be a trainer still...or why owners keep sending him

I just read one article about it. I never really liked Baffert, because he seems to have a little TOO much luck in the industry. And the fact that this is not the first time it has happened with one of his horses.

its just scopalamine from the nightshade in the hay. Should never be allowed to be near a horse again.

His excuse that someone outside his yard must have got to the horse is ridiculous. If his security is so lax an intruder can get into his yard to dope a derby runner within a few days of the race nobody should send him a horse. Its ultimately his responsibility.

I watched the press conference yesterday, Baffert was trying so hard to make himself cry, absolutely pathetic.

He said he'd be releasing the vet records and when asked if he'd do so publicly he paused, and then said that he'll release them to the Kentucky Horse Racing Association. Really Bob, doesn't look fishy at all!
