I think I know all the people in the photo. But please post their names (left-to-right) so I can check if I correctly identified them.

A couple of months ago I was optimistic that things would get back to normal this summer for a possible Del Mar meet up. But it seems like the trend is going in the wrong direction. California went back to a mask mandate. On Friday, the Las Vegas Valley will go back to a mask mandate.

I'm going to Florida in February.... I hope.

Long ago, I used to live in south Florida. I always enjoyed being outdoors at Gulfstream Park. I still fondly remember seeing Lure win the BC Mile. He looked absolutely magnificent before, during, and after the race. I did not venture outside much when I went to Calder in the summer but the clubhouse was always well air conditioned. I only went to Hialeah a few times because I was not that comfortable traveling through neighborhoods with so many bars on windows and doors. Even though the track was run down, there was still a feeling of past glory.

Hopefully, COVID will be pretty much gone by February.

The University of Nebraska women's bowling team were National Champs this past season.

Our football team should take lessons from them.

Nebraska is womens only so I couldn't go there lol but usually they run this thing called the ITCs and it has all the schools NCAA,NAIA and Club and usually they consider those the national champs since a lot of college bowling is done outside the NCAA but Nebraska is still one of the best NCAA ones with Maryland-Eastern Shore and Vanderbilt. In the mens side the top guys are usually Wichita, McKendree, Lindenwood and Webber (I'm considering Lindenwood rn)

I took bowling as an elective in college. I had bowled some in high school but was no great shakes. The instructor says our grade is based on a combination of out knowledge of the rules of the game and our improvement from the beginning of the semester until the end. I knew the rules front to back so i felt very solid there. Our initial game to establish our baseline? I rolled a still to this day best 199. What a dumbass!!!! Nowhere to go but down. I think I got a B- for the class because of my negative "improvement."
