I work with a very sweet Yiddish woman (neither xenophobic nor a zealot, but those are tough words!). It's really funny trying to figure out what accent she's using at any given time. It's part Yiddish, part Gringo (she was married to a Mexican man for years), part Yank, and part southern. She's awesome.

There are some awesomely long entries here and I love them -- keep them coming. But, using the argument that "Less is More" , I'd also like to see some more shorter ones. So I'm splitting the contest into two categories:

1) Pithy = 16 words or less
2) Supersized = more than 16 words (and I never thought there could be that many words in one sentence!)

Each group will compete separately in different polls.
Number of polls and prizes will depend on number of sentences entered in each category.

Remember you can, at any time, put in a new active entry which can be your previous sentence refined, modified, added to or reduced.
