3/16 Update:

It's been cold (53*.. so not TERRIBLE, but cold compared to our 75* weather the other day) and yucky with rain today. Star seems to be doing well.. she's extremely sassy because it's her turn to be in the pasture since we have to do a rotation with the other mare because they can't seem to get along with one another. She looks a little more uncomfortable today than she was yesterday, but she's not so uncomfortable enough to kick up her heels at the other mare when they bicker with one another.

I went out and checked her last night (and tried to get some pictures of her, but my camera’s battery died on me unfortunately). She’s starting to get a bag, and when I expressed some milk, it was still a clear color. But she’s getting closer, and she’s as big as a house!

Can we still enter our guesses? I had forgotten about this thread...

**I'm just curious. You said last year's foal was a tovero? How is that color possible with a solid mare and a tobiano stallion, particularly since he is homozygous for the gene?
