What did Dr. Bramlage say a few minutes ago? I missed most of it...

God, I had a premonition this would happen. I am totally freaked out now. It came to me yesterday as I was driving and I was analyzing how I thought the race would run. I was getting really nervous, but that's normal for me. And then it hit me, like a voice. I knew all of a sudden that something horrible would happen to Barbaro. I new that it wasn't just that he'd lose. Something terrible. And it's been haunting me all day. I finally told my little sister around 4 pm today "I'm going to say this right now, and I hate to say it. I've been in denial about this, and I hope to God it won't happen, but something horrible of going to happen to Barbaro, and I want you to be my witness." When he broke through the gate, I was like, thank goodness, maybe that's all I was dreading. But I about had a flipping heart attack when he was pulled up. My sis and I just stared at eachother. It looked horrible, the way he wouldn't put any weight on it. This is terrible. But Kudos to Berardini, he was my second pic. Oh, news, two fractures. BAD

Fractures can be worked on, but blood flow problems may be there....

I don't even know what to say about Barbaro right now because I have no feelings on the matter at the moment other than wanting to throw up.

HOWEVER, I do want Bernardini to know how proud I am of him. I was at his debut and I've been mad for him for months. This is also an important day for my beloved Indy since this is his first TC race winner.

He can have my blood. The Red Cross won't take it because I might have mad cow disease so I'm not sure it'd help him though.

The operation part of a serious injury isn't the hardest part. That would be the recovery.
