Re: AW Route Wins - Y60
Feels weird that I’m just now getting to 25 wins. Hopefully I can really pump those numbers up in the gears to come and keep my string of freak AWR rolling.

Re: AW Route Wins - Y60
There are 5 Grade 1 races that are run on Week 16, Day 1. Here are the results:
Madelene Gilbert and Revival picked up the All Weather Debutante. Revival is by Order Restored out of the Live the Dream mare, Namine. Namine was pretty good in her day and with a 4 for 4 start, Revival certainly does seem to be appropriately named for Madelene's revival in the game.
Willie Carson is one of two people to pick up their first AW Route Grade 1 wins yesterday. He got the win with Dragon Whistle, a 2YO colt by Dragon Temple out of the D's Tapeta mare Whistl. Congrats to Willie who's barn is quickly becoming one to watch out for.
Darcy McBride is the other first time AWR G1 winner (I was shocked that she hadn't picked one up yet). But she didn't just get one, she got two Steward's Cups yesterday. First is Tuscany Gold winning the Steward's Cup Synthetic Marathon. He's a 3YO colt by Franzia out of the Thermodynamic mare Tuscany Mist.
The other is True Women beating a stacked field in the Steward's Cup Synthetic Matron. True Women is a 4YO Filly by Longbird out of the Sound True mare, Sound Breeze. Congrats to Darcy, I don't think there is anyone more deserving with the amount of support they have given to the AW Route division.
I save the best (In my opinion) for last. My 4YO Colt Red Lantern won the Steward's Cup Synthetic Classic. Red Lantern is a 4YO Dragon Temple colt out of Quidditch Advice, a Quidditch mare. In this race he also captured the AW Route World Heavyweight Championship from Zahariel. He'll defend the title in the Pegasus Route.

Re: AW Route Wins - Y60
Thank you, Garret, for another great year of reporting all the news in the AWR world! It must be a lot of work to keep all those records!
And please tell me. Is Red Lantern truly going to retire at the end of YR 61?

Re: AW Route Wins - Y60
I expect that he will retire next year. Hoping for a Pegasus win, followed up with a Steward's Cup and make a run at Franzia in earnings.Darcy McBride wrote: ↑2 years ago Thank you, Garret, for another great year of reporting all the news in the AWR world!
