Post by Landon Alexander »

My runners had an amazing night with over $60,000 in winnings! I'm very excited!

Djin -- 1st with a 70+sp!! (QH)

Prancin Snow -- 1st (Arab I created)

Anjum -- 3rd, stakes placed (Arab)

Little Feller -- 2nd (QH) I need to stop running him against Four Four Forty Q!! Goodness!

Babydoll -- 2nd (QH)

Bailey's Gold -- 2nd (QH) -- need to stop pitting her and my other filly Platinum Plus together... Plus just can't get past her and they're posting equal speed figures!!

Platinum Plus -- 3rd (QH) -- good little filly

Gurella Deville -- 3rd (QH)

Emerging Cloud -- 2nd (Pacer)

Spit fire -- 2nd (Paint)

I had a bunch more bring home checks, but these tickled me most!! :)

9:3-1-1

All three wins were stakes, so earnings were good.

I have to say that this week I had success the first time really:
Stats: 12: 2-2-2-2, price money: 27,000

I'm really satisfied for this. Non of these were in stakes, mainly on maiden level. Also I had the possibility to claim two amazing horses on one of the claiming races. I have even tought to change my stable for only mixed breed horses, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea in the end yet.

----------------------------------------------

Here is our best results for this week:

4yr paint colt Dusk Over Cairo1st in Dakota Downs 300 yards Claiming race
(I had already lowered my hopes for this colt)

4yr arab colt Ghost Night1st in Los Angelitos 5F Allowance race
(I hope that we could try in short time in one of the stakes races with him, but I'm not sure yet)

4yr arab gelding Hickory Hollow 2nd in Los Angelitos 4F Maiden race
(Believe or not. This horse is a 100 dollar horse, that has made well in our stable this far. Still we are waiting for the winning race for us)

3yr appy filly Oregon Path 2nd in Dakota Downs 300 Maiden race
(This is one of my new horses and I was satisfied for her first race for our stable. Hope that we could have the winning race soon for her too)

4yr appy colt Dark Autumn 3rd Dakota Downs 870 Maiden race

3yr appy filly Jabalina 3rd Dakota Downs 870 Maiden race

-------------------------------------

And here are my new ones that were claimed this week:

4yr paint colt Sherwin Williams stats: 5 : 1 - 0 - 3

4yr paint colt Strawberrysplashed stats: 5 : 2 - 2 - 0
Available
Retro Metro - Multiple stakes winner paint at 400y, record setter
Curly Bill - Stakes winner Appaloosa at 400y

Good night for my stable.

Bad Blazin Biankus won her stakes race with a 72 SF. She was retired after tonight.

Eyesa Got Color finally got a win, hopefully she's improving with age.

Dash Ta Perks ran 2nd which is okay. I'm hoping that next year he'll be ready for the bigger races.

Dash For Treasure got a third tonight. She has one more race before she's retiring.

I also had two fourths so everyone was in the money.

Tonight's stats: 6-2-1-1 for $54,100

I have a question. How'd you get a mare with a full pedigree?

When Em was adding the mixed breeds to the game she asked if I knew any QH pedigrees. The thoroughbred farm I was at at the time had a handful of QH runners so I suggested some pedigrees. Six Fols Dash was a filly the owner had bought at auction, she is the sweetest girl, so Em sold her to me in the game.
