Year End Stakes!! Get Excited!!

Post by Adela Nowak »

Hey! Why isn't anyone talking about the exciting races that are to come tomorrow night?! We have the "Star of Stars" with two undefeated horses running head to head, the California Juvenile with quite a spread of talent and also the California Marathon where Dbacks will attempt to go undefeated at 870 yds! I know that there are lots of people out there waiting anxiously for results night wednesday, so lets get some chatter going about it, shall we?

I'm excited about the 6th (!) meeting of the year between Gin On The Rocks and Hanover Hack in the SC Classic Trot. My horse has won 3, Todd's has won 2. I'm nervous....

I was planning on doing race calls but unfortunately I sprained my finger (how random, huh?) and everything is on hold since it takes me ages to type anything!!

Our babies deserve some love! If they can't have some action in the Steward's Cup ticket, they should at least get your surely impressive miming abilities! :D

Nooooo! Finger pain is the worst!
Well, definitely not "the worst," but right up there on the list of "things that are WAY more of a pain in the *** than you'd think they'd be."

Feel better!!

In other news, <3 Appies. Go Appies go! Well, mine, at least. Everyone else's can feel free to go a little slower. :D

Well, I'm excited because I think that Lukers might get me my first graded stakes win. He's got a fast time for 870 yards, and he might be able to take Dbacks down. *knock on wood*

Well I am not confident if that helps you. I screwed up his schedule and this is his toughest field to date.

Well, experience and confidence is on Dbacks' side, both really big factors. I was hoping to move Lukers slowly onto the stakes scene, but this was my only option for the end of the year, so we're either gonna sink or swim...
