Goldmine has recently been retired to stud duty. He's a beautiful palomino with a solid race record(especially if you throw out his last race where he voluntarily let the girl in front...he and his perverted friends stayed back so they could see her rear end). Due to the very obvious fact that he would rather look at booty than kick booty, he is now in the breeding shed standing at the introductory fee of 5k.
eta: i guess i should have specified that goldmine is a quarter horse. sorry about that!!

Re: Goldmine-now retired...
Might I add that Goldmine has thrown some of the fastest speed figures at 650 yards AND 400 yards. He was also a track record setter/equaler not once, but TWICE!! ... (Until Fast Chic broke it Week 15... minor detail )
400 yards – 19.39, Fast Chic, 4yoF (Week1), Genuine Pearl, 4yoF (Week3), Goldmine, 4yoC (Week4 & Week9)
New record is now 19.37.
There is an article written about the palomino which talks a little bit more about him... And one of his new foals on the ground is out of Genuine Pearl (who you can see up above held the same record as Goldmine -- very exciting). As you can tell, I kinda like this guy!

Goldmine was awesome, and this post really cracked me up LaDonna. I love your description of what happened his last race! I wish I had QH's, because I'd definately send a mare to this guy. For now, I'll just have to admire his kids.
