Heh. All I can say is...what do you think they do in parts of the world where there are no dirt tracks? ;-) As this site: http://www.communigate.co.uk/ne/nesa/ demonstrates, there's a surprisingly active harness racing community in England, where they race exclusively on turf *grin*. Or maybe not so surprising, as Messenger *was* foaled in England.

I would say the confusing part is that I quite enjoy Indiana Downs, but definitely don't remember a turf course!

I wish I would have known, That would have been neat to see. Ofcourse I was working anyway. I talked to a Lady who worked there and she said the night went well.

I wish I could see.. the closest I've ever been to watching a trotter race (and this is a HUGE stretch) is that I once showed my horse on The Red Mile in Lexington. We didn't do so hot.. William Shatner beat our pants off.. but it was fun.
