The Steward has finalized the stakes schedule. To make it a little easier, I am going to try and break them down into Breeds. The rest will come as I get them done. Also, it is possible that I could miss a race, and sponsored races won't be listed, but everything should be here.

I suppose that means all the time I've spent converting the stakes schedule to handwritten spreadsheets has been rather unnecessary. (Though quite educational!)

Does anyone know: do standardbred's not race beyond the age of 4?

They do race beyond the age of four, but opportunities are limited, it seems.

I've mapped out the stakes schedule and Chariot Expo offers stakes for 3yos and up, all for 50k. Standardbreds also race at Maroon Mile on certain weeks, and at Harness Expo for most weeks. Those tracks don't have any stakes, except for sponsored ones. I know their overnight races have opportunities for older horses.

It's the Meadowlands, which has the major stakes, that doesn't have any for older than 4yo. The notable exception is the Stewards Cup, which has "4yo and up" races.

Hey, there's an Irrational Stakes too! I certainly didn't expect that since with the exception of the Steward's Crown, her season really wasn't outstanding.
